(Singapore, 10,04.2018)Singapore-based fintech pioneer SCash Technologies has officially launched WIZZ, an integrated cross-border mobile payment application designed to empower micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) to tap into China’s massive e-commerce market. The launch was held alongside the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with six global partners to collaborate on cross-border e-wallet payment settlement and merchant acquisition.

The six international partners — Data Zoo from Australia, Terbit International from Indonesia, FairFX Group and Muloot from the United Kingdom, Immobiliare Italiana International from Thailand, and Teranet in Vietnam — will work with SCash Technologies to accelerate merchant onboarding processes. Through the adoption of WIZZ’s advanced electronic Know-Your-Customer (e-KYC) technology, the usual merchant acquisition timeline of three weeks can be shortened to as little as three days.

The e-KYC system is designed to improve efficiency and productivity for financial institutions and merchant acquirers while maintaining strict compliance and due diligence standards, setting a new benchmark for fintech integration and trust.

With the launch of WIZZ, SCash Technologies aims to open China’s digital marketplace—home to more than 400 million online consumers—to small businesses worldwide. The platform integrates seamlessly with major third-party e-wallets in China, allowing foreign merchants to accept payments from Chinese customers in renminbi (RMB) while receiving settlements in their local currencies.

“WIZZ is a one-stop solution that enables small and medium enterprises to go from offline to online within 24 hours,” said Michael Lee, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of SCash Technologies. “Once approved, a traditional merchant can instantly gain access to the China market. Product uploads are straightforward and can be completed in minutes. With our free SaaS Toolkit, even the smallest business can participate in global digital trade without the usual barriers.”

Unlike traditional e-commerce solutions that often require hefty upfront investments ranging from S$10,000 to S$80,000, WIZZ is completely free to download and use on both iOS and Android. Merchants are not charged any registration or setup fees and only pay a small fee per transaction, similar to the merchant discount rates on platforms such as Visa or MasterCard. The application’s built-in capabilities allow a merchant to set up an online store, list products, manage inventory, and receive payments within a single day. It also supports real-time payment reconciliation and automatically clears e-wallet verification processes, enabling seamless cross-border transactions in multiple currencies.

A typical WIZZ transaction is simple and fast. A merchant lists a product for sale in their local currency, while a Chinese buyer views the price and completes the purchase in RMB using their preferred e-wallet. The system instantly converts the amount and deposits the payment into the merchant’s local account, removing the complexities of foreign exchange and settlement.

In addition to payment integration, WIZZ provides a comprehensive Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that enables merchants to manage all aspects of their business operations — from online store management and inventory control to customer engagement, analytics, and financial reporting. This all-in-one ecosystem helps small businesses expand their digital presence, attract repeat customers, and manage their daily operations more effectively on a single secure platform.

By lowering entry barriers and offering enterprise-grade tools at no cost, SCash Technologies is redefining fintech accessibility for small businesses. The company hopes WIZZ will transform how MSMEs engage in global e-commerce, particularly in China — the world’s largest online marketplace, where e-commerce transactions already account for over 23 percent of retail sales and exceed RMB6 trillion in gross merchandise value.

As Michael Lee concluded, “WIZZ empowers even the smallest merchants to take part in global trade. There is no coding, no setup fee, and no delay. With WIZZ, we are bridging the gap between traditional commerce and digital opportunity, bringing the world’s fastest-growing consumer market within reach of every entrepreneur.”
