(Singapore, 07.05.2025) Royal Caribbean International is lifting the curtain on the spectacular experiences awaiting guests aboard its newest Icon Class ship, Star of the Seas, set to make its debut in August 2025 from Port Canaveral, Florida. The cruise line is bringing an unmatched combination of world-class entertainment and diverse dining that redefines what it means to vacation at sea.

At the heart of this next-generation vessel is a lineup of bold, boundary-pushing performances and more than 40 dining and drinking venues, designed to delight guests of all ages. Star of the Seas will feature five signature shows spanning stage, air, water, and ice, with headline acts like the Broadway-hit Back to the Future: The Musical making its sea debut. The production brings together rock classics, dazzling choreography, immersive special effects, and signature Royal Caribbean twists, all performed by the largest orchestra at sea.
The immersive entertainment continues throughout the ship. In the Royal Theater, Create, a new Royal Caribbean original, tells the story of KRE-8, a robot on a soul-searching journey of discovery, brought to life through song, dance, and visual storytelling. At the AquaTheater, Pirates & Mermaids offers a whimsical, family-friendly show where high divers, artistic swimmers, and dancers present a tale of adventure and unity. For guests seeking a rush of adrenaline and awe, Torque revs up the AquaTheater with a high-energy performance blending aerial artistry, acrobatics, and cutting-edge visuals. Meanwhile, the Absolute Zero ice arena hosts SOL, an original production following the symbolic path of the sun, performed by Royal Caribbean’s largest-ever cast of ice skaters.
On the culinary front, Star of the Seas offers an array of flavors from around the world. AquaDome Market, exclusive to Icon Class ships, expands with three new food stalls serving tender pulled pork and beef brisket, Southeast Asian specialties such as pad thai and beef panang, and Latin American staples including empanadas and arepas. Another highlight is the debut of Lincoln Park Supper Club, an immersive dining journey inspired by 1930s Chicago, combining multi-course menus with live jazz, vintage cocktails, and nods to legendary Windy City dining icons like Chez Paree and The Pump Room. Guests can also enjoy fine cuts at Chops Grille, teppanyaki theatrics at Izumi Hibachi & Sushi, or host special celebrations at the private Celebration Table.
Throughout the day, families can stop by casual favorites like Surfside Eatery or refuel at Basecamp in Thrill Island. For those craving global flavors, Windjammer offers the fleet’s largest buffet, showcasing more than 12 international cuisines daily.

As night falls, the energy aboard Star of the Seas only intensifies. Adults can enjoy an evening of comedy at The Attic, sing their hearts out at karaoke, or take a chance at Casino Royale. The ship offers over 20 vibrant nightlife venues, including returning favorites like Dueling Pianos, the cocktail-centric Rye & Bean, the New Orleans-inspired Lou’s, and Bubbles, a champagne bar set beneath the stars in Central Park.
Designed to be the ultimate family getaway, Star of the Seas will sail 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries, including visits to Royal Caribbean’s award-winning private destination, Perfect Day at CocoCay. Beginning December 2025, the ship will also offer stops at Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in The Bahamas, the first destination in the new Royal Beach Club Collection, designed to deliver curated experiences across relaxation, family fun, and vibrant celebrations.
With Star of the Seas, Royal Caribbean continues to redefine family vacations by creating unforgettable, multi-sensory moments at sea — where adventure, entertainment, and culinary innovation come together like never before.
