(Singapore, 18.08.2025) The Singapore Council of Women’s Organizations (SCWO) is the national coordinating body of 70 women’s groups in Singapore. SCWO is committed to promoting the well-being and advancement of women in Singapore, and through various initiatives, advocacy, and programme, enhances the social status and quality of life of women.
Fortune Times Annual Event will take place on the 22 October 2025, in conjunction with the celebrations of SG60, we will be holding a fundraising auction in support of SCWO. All raised fund will be donated to SCWO, to support its mission of empowering Singapore women from diverse backgrounds and providing assistance and opportunities for growth.
SCWO is a registered charity organization in Singapore with Institution of a Public Character (IPC) status. Under current Singapore law, all eligible donations qualify for 250% tax deduction.

To mark Singapore’s 60th anniversary of independence, Fortune Times will launch an important commemorative publication — She Power Singapore. This Chinese-language book pays tribute to 200 extraordinary women in Singapore’s history and serves as a cultural gift to the nation.
The book spans over 200,000 words, chronicling the lives and achievements of nearly 200 women from the 18th to the 21st century across politics, law, business, education, medicine, literature, and the arts. Regardless of race, religion, or profession, these women embody Singapore’s multicultural spirit and collective female strength.

The official launch will take place at the Fortune Times Annual Event and Gala Dinner on 22 October 2025.
