Makes payment on online platform convenient and secure

Singapore, 22 May 2018 – Caregiver Asia Pte Ltd, an online aggregator of trusted on-demand health and caregiving services, today announced that customers can make real-time payments on its platform, www.caregiverasia.com, by scanning a QR code using their mobile phone (via eNETS QR) or directly from their bank account via eNETS direct debit.

A first in the industry, eNETS QR provides consumers with a simplified payment experience as they only need to scan the eNETS QR code on CaregiverAsia’s website using any of these mobile apps, NETSPay, DBS’ PayLah!, OCBC’s Pay Anyone or UOB’s Mighty, to make payment, sparing them hassle of having to key in their card details or login to their bank accounts, Fingerprint or passcode authorisation has to take place before a payment can be made, so consumers are always in control of their purchases.

Consumers who don’t have any of these mobile apps can make payment via eNETS direct debit which debits the funds directly from their bank account. eNETS direct debit participating banks include Citibank, DBS/POSB, OCBC, Standard Chartered Bank and UOB. Both eNETS QR and eNETS direct debit are provided by NETS, Singapore’s leading payments solutions provider.

Ms Yeo Wan Ling, CEO of CaregiverAsia said, “I am pleased that we have introduced eNETS QR and eNETS direct debit on our platform.  We want to give our customers as many payment options as possible in order to make transactions online and offline as convenient and as secure as possible. NETS, being the leading Singapore’s leading payment solutions provider, will give that added convenience to our customers.”

Mr Alvin Seck, Head of Merchant Services & Solutions, NETS, said, “We are pleased to partner with CaregiverAsia in offering their customers a secure and seamless payment experience. Mobile payments have increased exponentially over the past two years as consumers perform more activities on their phone. We believe that CaregiverAsia’s customers will find eNETS QR particularly convenient as it is faster than most payment options but just as secure.”

Apart from eNETS QR and eNETS direct debit, customers on CaregiverAsia’s platform can also pay for services via credit cards and bank transfers.
