(Singapore, 9 Dec)Perennial Holdings its various eldercare, medical and hospitality brands within Perennial International Health and Business City Tianjin. It is the company’s first healthcare-centric, high-speed railway (HSR) transit-oriented development integrating eldercare, medical and hospitality components in China.

The ceremony was graced by the key government officials including Mr Desmond Lee, Singapore
Minister for National Development and Minister-in-Charge of Social Services Integration and Co-Chair of
the Singapore-Tianjin Economic and Trade Council, Mr Lee Chuan Teck, Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”)
of Enterprise Singapore, and representative from Tianjin and Xiqing District. 

Spanning 3.5 million square feet (“sq ft”) and developed at a total investment cost of approximately
S$1 billion, Perennial Tianjin is located in Xiqing District and adjacent to the Tianjin South HSR station, a
key station positioned to serve the communities in the Jing-Jin-Ji megalopolis integrating Beijing, Tianjin
and Hebei in North China. 

Within the Perennial Eldercare Community, Perennial Holdings launched three Perennial-branded
eldercare facilities with a total of over 1,800-beds to cater to seniors with different care needs. The facilities comprise Perennial Eldercare Home, a 286-bed home for healthy seniors, Perennial Assisted Living Apartment, a 1,227-bed facility for seniors with assisted daily living needs, and Perennial Nursing
Hospital, a 299-bed facility for seniors who have high care needs.

Within Perennial International Health and Medical Hub, the medical component of Perennial Tianjin,
Perennial launched Perennial-branded and Perennial-co-branded hospitals with a total of 1,000 beds. The hospitals include the 500-bed general hospital with a co-medical space concept, where doctors and medical groups provide speciality services while enjoying the convenience of shared ancillary services, such as operating theatres, diagnostic imaging equipment and laboratory. There is also a 200-bed rehabilitation hospital.

On the hospitality front, Perennial Holdings hold a 49-51 joint venture with Minyoun Hospitality to operate hotels within developments which are owned by Perennial Holdings (“Hotel JV”).  The Hotel JV will operate four hotels with a total of about 960 rooms under multiple distinctive brands. 

Singapore Minister for National Development Mr Desmond Lee, said, “Perennial Holdings’ new
development exemplifies the collaboration between Singapore and China – strong and focuses on
delivering practical benefits for people in our two countries and beyond.”

Mr Pua Seck Guan, Executive Chairman and CEO of Perennial Holdings added, “Our comprehensive suite of eldercare facilities and services within Perennial Eldercare Community provide seniors, ranging from the healthy to those with chronic diseases, dementia and high care needs, with seamless one-stop transitional care, while supported by three adjacent hospitals, with general, rehabilitation and specialist medical professionals at their doorstep. We are pleased to have partnered a renowned specialist doctor to establish a co-branded specialist hospital and are heartened to have received strong interest from various medical groups for the Perennial General Hospital.”
