(Singapore, 11.06.2026)DKSH has entered into a strategic distribution partnership with biotechnology company BridgeBio to support the regulatory evaluation and future commercialization of an innovative treatment for transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM) across Australia, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan.

Under the agreement, DKSH Healthcare will provide end-to-end commercialization services for BridgeBio’s transthyretin stabilizer, covering regulatory affairs, medical affairs, market access, distribution and commercial operations. The collaboration aims to accelerate patient access to a new treatment option, subject to regulatory approvals in each market.

ATTR-CM is a progressive and life-threatening disease caused by the accumulation of abnormal transthyretin proteins in the heart, leading to heart failure, repeated hospitalizations and increased risk of cardiovascular death. The disease often remains underdiagnosed despite its serious impact on patients’ quality of life.

The transthyretin stabilizer covered under the agreement is intended for adult patients with either wild-type or hereditary ATTR-CM, with the goal of reducing cardiovascular mortality and hospitalizations. The therapy has not yet received regulatory approval in Australia, Singapore, South Korea or Taiwan.

Leveraging Regional Commercialisation Expertise

The partnership combines BridgeBio’s expertise in developing therapies for genetic diseases with DKSH Healthcare’s established commercialization platform across Asia-Pacific.

DKSH said it will leverage its regional capabilities in regulatory affairs, medical affairs, market access and launch execution, supported by its integrated distribution infrastructure, to facilitate market entry once approvals are obtained.

“Our strategic partnership with BridgeBio represents an important milestone as DKSH Healthcare enters a new chapter with a renewed vision for growth,” said Patrik Grande, Global Head of Business Unit Healthcare at DKSH.

“United by a shared commitment to improving outcomes for underserved patients, we are proud to combine BridgeBio’s scientific innovation with DKSH Healthcare’s industry-leading commercialization platform. Leveraging our deep market expertise and trusted execution across complex healthcare systems, we are well positioned to launch this biotech innovation and expand access to important new treatment options reliably, responsibly and at scale.”

Growing Demand for Rare Disease Treatments

The collaboration reflects the increasing focus on improving access to innovative therapies for rare and complex diseases in Asia-Pacific, where regulatory pathways, reimbursement systems and healthcare infrastructure vary significantly across markets.

By combining BridgeBio’s scientific innovation with DKSH’s commercialization capabilities, both companies aim to shorten the path from regulatory approval to patient access, supporting broader availability of advanced treatments for ATTR-CM patients in the region.

The partnership also highlights DKSH Healthcare’s continued expansion into specialty pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, reinforcing its role as a strategic commercialization partner for global life sciences companies seeking to enter Asia-Pacific markets.
